Bynum is Down
Just when my Lakers are kicking some butts (undefeated this year) and looking to lead the packed West… Bynum goes down. With incoming games against Phoenix, Denver, San Antonio, Dallas and Cleveland Cavs (plus a 9-game road trip), this is absolutely a big bad news. The good news is, they still have one player named KOBE. Time to shoot 30 fgs again! Onto a 35-point average for KOBE the rest of the regular season. The Bynum injury here.
PBA Cager Dribbling Lian’s Heart
Break-up of Mark Herras and Lian Paz (EB Babe) due to PBA cager? “Did they split up due to internal or external factors? Mark’s camp insists that the culprit is a PBA cager who’s been dribbling Lian’s heart. But her drumbeaters claim that Mark dumped Lian like a hot potato via text. Strange that my PBA sources are clueless about Lian’s romance with a cager. Perhaps it’s just a cover-up so that Mark won’t look like the bad guy. What a way to make his mark as he walks in and out of so many girls’ lives.”

Basketball (Political) Wars, Again!
Can we please put a stop to our basketball wars? The Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP), despite the fact that what is now the approved organization is the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), has been trying to organize the 62nd National Student Basketball Championship, in Cebu City from Feb. 25 to March 2. The Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF), which is the approved organization of the International Olympic Committee’s International University Sports Federation (Fisu), says that the entity that the BAP is using — the Asian University Basketball Federation (AUBF) — has no authority to host the 6th Asian University Basketball Championships (AUBC). This makes the National Students Basketball Championship in Cebu illegitimate and illegal. Full Entry Another entry here.

SALE SHOES: Fila Grande Mens Rubber Shoes
Since last month I was on a look out for rubber shoes that I can wear on normal shorts and even jeans. AND, of course, at the same time, wear in case I’ll play light basketball, badminton and quite possibly jog. The salesman over at MOA SM was offering a cross-trainer type of rubber shoes. Yaknow, the one that looks like for “aerobics†shoe. It’s plain white. It’s dull. And of course, I do not want to be Richard Simmons’ clone. So the final pick came between a Reebok low-cut black rubber shoes (P2900) versus this FILA Black Rubber Shoes ridiculously priced P999.00. Full Entry
